Saalih al-Fawzan

He is the Noble scholar Dr. Saalih ibn Abdullah from the family of Fawzan. He was born in 1933 and learned from the likes of Shaikh Bin Baz, Shaikh Muhammad al-Ameen ash- Shanqeeti and Shaikh Muhammad as-Subayyal just to name a few.

He graduated from the College of Shari’ah at the University of Imam Muhammad bin Sa’ud in 1960, afterwards he obtained his Masters degree and a later a PhD in Fiqh from the same university.

He is a member of the Council of Senior Scholars and the President of the Permanent Committee for Islamic Research and Verdicts. He is also the Imaam at the Prince Mut’ib Ibn Abdul-Aziz masjid. The Shaikh is prominent in calling to the Qur’an and Sunnah as it was understood by the Salaf us-Saalih.
